Ashley Grund

Ashley Grund supports clients on various corporate communications mandates including financial communications, M&A, activism defense preparation and issues management.

At Gladstone, Ashley has worked with companies, including Salesforce and AB InBev, on financial communications, media and investor relations. She has worked on transactions such as 3G Capital’s $7.1 billion acquisition of Hunter Douglas, Alaska Airlines in its $1.9 billion acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines, and Hillenbrand’s take-private by Lone Star Funds. She has supported Investor Days for clients, including Alaska Airlines, and activism defense projects including The Walt Disney Company throughout its engagements with Trian Fund Management, Third Point Management, ValueAct and Blackwells. Ashley also has experience working with clients on crisis preparedness engagements, recently leading a cybersecurity tabletop simulation.

Prior to joining Gladstone, Ashley was an account supervisor at Peppercomm. Ashley began her career in communications at KWT Global and previously worked at The World Bank, spent time on Capitol Hill and worked for CNN in Hong Kong.

Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University where she studied International Affairs and Journalism and Mass Communication. She was named as an honoree in PRNEWS’ Top Women in PR & Communications 2026 class in the Rising Star category. She is a certified yoga teacher and conversational in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
