Ashley Grund is an associate at Gladstone Place Partners, where she supports clients on various corporate communications mandates, including financial communications, M&A, activism defense preparation and issues management.
At Gladstone, Ashley has supported companies including AB InBev, IBM and American Securities on financial communications, media and investor relations, and has worked on transactions such as 3G Capital’s $7.1 billion acquisition of Hunter Douglas and Hillenbrand’s sale of its Batesville Casket Company for $761 million. She has also supported activism defense projects for clients including The Walt Disney Company throughout its contest with activist investor Trian Partners.
Prior to joining Gladstone, Ashley was an account supervisor at Peppercomm where she worked predominantly on media relations, content development and social media for clients in wealth and asset management, cloud technology, insurance and travel. Ashley began her career in communications at KWT Global and previously worked at The World Bank, on Capitol Hill and at CNN in Hong Kong.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University where she studied International Affairs and Journalism and Mass Communication. She is conversational in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
