Felipe advises clients on matters related to investor relations, M&A, litigation and crisis communications. He has broad experience working on a range of strategic communications issues across industries and geographies.
Felipe has worked on financial communications and investor relations assignments for companies including AT&T, CVS Health, Nomad Foods, Renault Groupe, Marriott International and Thomson Reuters, among others. Highlights of his transaction experience include advising The Walt Disney Company in its $71 billion acquisition of the entertainment assets of 21st Century Fox, GE in its strategic review and spinoff of its healthcare business, AB InBev in its $20.1 billion acquisition of Grupo Modelo of Mexico and the acquisition of the Los Angeles Dodgers by Guggenheim Baseball Management.
His litigation experience includes supporting BP in litigation communications matters related to the Deepwater Horizon accident and spill, where he led the design of the company’s online and social media communications efforts on these issues, and working on long-running patent litigation issues for Smith & Nephew PLC. Felipe also has significant experience in crisis communications, particularly in the areas of issues mapping, planning and response training and in media and spokesperson training.
He joined Gladstone Place Partners after earning a Master’s in Business Administration at Columbia Business School. Before attending Columbia, Felipe worked at Brunswick Group. Felipe earned his bachelor’s at New York University, holding Summa Cum Laude degrees in History and Communications Studies. His mother tongue is Spanish.
