Felipe Ucrós is a partner at Gladstone Place Partners, where he advises companies on strategy and communications matters related to investor relations, M&A, activism planning and defense, litigation and issues management.
Felipe has worked on financial communications and investor relations assignments for companies including Baxter International, CVS Health, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GE, IBM, KraftHeinz and Renault Groupe. Highlights of his transaction experience include advising The Walt Disney Company on its $71 billion acquisition of the entertainment assets of 21st Century Fox, 3G Capital on its $7.1 billion acquisition of Hunter Douglas, Cargill and Continental Grain on their $4.5 billion acquisition of Sanderson Farms, Dunkin’ Brands sale to Inspire Brands for $11.3 billion and Weber’s $3.7 billion take-private by BDT, among others.
As a part of his investor relations work, Felipe has assisted companies such as Duke Energy in outlining the strategy and messaging for its successful Investor Day. His issues management experience includes supporting BP in litigation communications matters related to the Deepwater Horizon accident, assisting Marriott International in the disclosure of the cyber breach of the Starwood reservation database and WeWork on its strategic repositioning.
Felipe helped establish Gladstone in 2017 after earning an MBA at Columbia Business School. While at Gladstone, he has been named to PR Week and the National Investor Relations Institute’s (NIRI) 40 under 40 lists. Felipe started his career at Brunswick Group. He graduated summa cum laude from New York University with bachelor’s degrees in History and Communications Studies. A native Colombian, Felipe lived and worked in five countries before finally settling down in New York.
