Gabriella Coffey Associate
Gabriella Coffey is an Associate at Gladstone Place Partners, where she has worked on teams advising companies on a range of issues, such as shareholder activism and M&A, as well as crisis communications and issues management.
Gabriella’s work includes supporting AB InBev on a variety of mandates, including the $5 billion listing of its Asia-Pacific business on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the $11 billion sale of its Australian business to Asahi Holdings. Gabriella also worked on Andeavor’s $23.3 billion sale to Marathon Petroleum, GE’s separation of its healthcare business and stake in Baker Hughes, and on Dell’s return to the public markets in 2018. Private equity M&A mandates include Johnson Controls’ $13.2 billion sale of its Power Solutions business and Travelport’s take-private.
While at Gladstone, Gabriella has also worked on a broad array of investor relations, shareholder activism defense and crisis management projects for a number of companies, including AT&T, Cars.com, Citi, DXC Technology, The Howard Hughes Corporation, Marriott International, MEMX, Nomad Foods, Pfizer and Travelport.
Before joining Gladstone Place, she worked as a sales operations analyst at proprietary trading firm Geneva Energy Markets, where she was responsible for risk and operational duties. Gabriella started her career at Goldman Sachs where she worked on a regulatory risk project doing project management and communications.
Gabriella is a dual citizen with both US and UK citizenship. She graduated in 2015 with a first-class degree in French & Italian from University College London.
