Julie Laskin is a vice president at Gladstone Place Partners where she supports clients on financial and strategic communications, including projects related to shareholder activism, M&A transactions, CEO transitions, corporate reputation and issues management across a range of industries. She brings to the firm extensive in-house experience in investor relations as well as financial and corporate governance communications.
At Gladstone, Julie has advised clients such as IBM, Griffon Corporation, Nikola and Diffusion Pharmaceuticals on a variety of mandates. Her transaction experience at the firm includes HNI Corporation’s proposed agreement to acquire Kimball International for $485 million and The Chernin Group’s $263 million strategic investment in Funko.
Prior to joining Gladstone, Julie worked for ten years at Prudential Financial, Inc., where she held several positions across corporate finance, investor relations and communications. Most recently, as director of financial and governance communications, Julie supported Prudential with quarterly earnings preparation and reporting, disposition and acquisition activities, ESG-related campaigns and strategic positioning.
Julie received a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, where she studied Finance.
