Lauren OdellPartner and Chief Operating Officer
Lauren is partner and chief operating officer of Gladstone Place Partners. She manages the operations of the firm and leads strategy and execution on client accounts.
At Gladstone, Lauren has advised on a range of financial communications projects including The Walt Disney Company’s $71 billion acquisition of the entertainment assets of 21st Century Fox, Pfizer’s spinoff and combination of its $25 billion generics business with Mylan, the sale of Dunkin’ Brands to Inspire Brands for $11.3 billion, and Dell Technologies’ return to the public markets.
Lauren has advised WeWork throughout its capital-raising, strategic repositioning and leadership transition and its proposed $9 billion SPAC merger with BowX Acquisition Corp., worked with Marriott International following a data security incident involving the Starwood guest database and advised the board of Credit Suisse on a management transition. Lauren’s litigation experience includes supporting BP following the Deepwater Horizon accident and spill. Lauren also has broad experience in investor relations issues and working with newly public companies during the first year as a public company.
Prior to Gladstone, Lauren spent nine years at Brunswick Group, where she focused on crisis and litigation, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. Lauren also worked in the Investment Banking and Investor Relations divisions of JPMorgan in New York and London. She graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and is fluent in Spanish.
