Max Dutcher Vice President
Max Dutcher is a vice president at Gladstone Place Partners. Max brings a wealth of communications and analytic expertise to client engagements, with a strong background in financial, business and strategic analysis.
Max has worked on financial communications and investor relations assignments for AT&T, Nomad Foods and Performance Foods Group, amongst others. His transactions experience has included advising on Monsanto’s $66 billion combination with Bayer, GE’s announced separation of its healthcare business and stake in Baker Hughes, Staples Inc’s $483 million acquisition of Essendant and the spinoff of Henry Schein’s Animal health business and merger with Vets First Choice.
Prior to joining Gladstone Place, Max was a Director in FTI Consulting’s Capital Markets and Special Situations teams. He also developed financial analytic tools still used by management teams at multiple Fortune 500 companies. Before FTI, Max worked as an associate in the Transactions and Business Analytics practice at Deloitte in New York City. While at Deloitte, he worked with clients to execute in-depth modeling engagements, price complex securities, perform restructuring analysis and complete enterprise risk mitigation projects.
Max received his Masters of Valuation Accountancy at Vanderbilt University, where he also completed all sections of the CPA exam. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Furman University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Asian Studies. Max is also a board member of the Furman Metropolitan Fellowship, a grant program at his alma mater with a focus on career development in NYC. He is conversational in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
