Max DutcherSenior Vice President
Max Dutcher is a senior vice president at Gladstone Place Partners, where he brings deep expertise in financial communications alongside strong business and strategic analysis skills to company engagements.
Max has worked on financial communications and investor relations assignments for AT&T, IBM, AB InBev, Citi, Accenture, Marriott, Markel Corporation, and Apollo, among others. His transaction experience includes advising on AT&T’s $43 billion deal to spin off and merge WarnerMedia with Discovery, 3G Capital’s $7.1 billion acquisition of Hunter Douglas, Churchill IV’s combination with Lucid Motors, ADT Security’s $600 million partnership with Google Nest, AB InBev’s $5 billion IPO of Budweiser APAC on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, WeWork’s capital-raising, leadership transition and $9 billion SPAC merger with BowX, and Monsanto’s $66 billion combination with Bayer, among others.
Prior to joining Gladstone Place, Max was a director in FTI Consulting’s Capital Markets and Special Situations teams. Before FTI, Max worked as an associate in the Transactions and Business Analytics practice at Deloitte in New York City.
Max received his master’s degree in Valuation Accountancy at Vanderbilt University, where he also completed all sections of the CPA exam. He graduated magna cum laude from Furman University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Asian Studies. Max is also a board member of the Furman Metropolitan Fellowship, a grant program at his alma mater with a focus on career development in New York City. He is conversational in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
