Michael LandauSenior Vice President

Michael Landau is a senior vice president at Gladstone Place Partners where he advises companies on communications matters related to investor relations, shareholder activism, corporate positioning and issues management. He has a decade of in-house and agency experience providing strategic communications and investor relations expertise for clients across industries and in a wide range of high-profile corporate events.

At Gladstone, Michael has worked on financial communications and investor relations assignments for companies including AB InBev, Baxter International, IBM and Nikola. His transaction experience includes advising The Chernin Group in its $263 million strategic investment in Funko and HNI in its proposed acquisition of Kimball International.

Prior to Gladstone, Michael was the director of corporate communications at Minerals Technologies (MTI), a NYSE-listed company. In this role, he developed the company’s global internal and external communications agenda with responsibility for message development, investor-focused activities, employee communications, social and digital media, and government relations. In addition, Michael advanced MTI’s ESG communication strategy and created the annual Sustainability Report.

Before MTI, Michael spent seven years at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher and most recently served as a director. Michael advised clients on a variety of special situations and helped to implement robust external and internal communications programs. Highlights of his transaction experience include advising Shire Pharmaceuticals in its $62 billion sale to Takeda Pharmaceuticals, ACE in its $28 billion acquisition of Chubb, Family Dollar in its $8.5 billion sale to Dollar Tree, and Verizon Communications in its acquisition of Vodafone’s interest in Verizon Wireless for $130 billion.

Michael graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development.
